Cruising Area Page

In 2008, between May and September, we will be cruising the River Seine between Vernon and Paris or Paris and Montereau, with overnight stops in superb locations such as Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, Fontainbleu, Saint Mammes and Vernon.

Our initial cruise in May will be from Honfleur to Rouen and the last cruise of the season will be taking the boat back to Honfleur via Rouen

This will enable you to take in the beauty of the countryside and the wonderful towns and villages along the River Seine. We have our tender and outboard motor that enables us to take a short excursion to places otherwise inaccessible

This is 'Tom Jones' at the same spot !

You can do as much or as little as you want when on the boat - sit and watch the countryside go by or helm the boat (under the watchful eye of your skipper), assist in mooring the boat and going through locks or just sit and watch

Our cruising area has been an inspiration to many artists, why not use the boat as your studio and be inspired by the backdrop.

Conflans Sainte Honorine

Our aim is to take you where you want to go, we will be as flexible as you want. If you want to stay an extra day at Vernon to visit Givernet and the gardens of Monet - then this is what we do !

If you have not already fully sampled the delights of Paris, we can stay there for a few days if you wish. One night in Paris is included in your cruise.

A stay in Paris of more than one night is subject to an additional charge of 50 euros per night - but you will be berthed beneath the Eiffel Tower.

Your cruising holiday is based on a 'bed and breakfast' basis. Breakfast will be continental. We will be stopping around midday each day and mooring each evening.

Midday and evening meals will be your own responsibility - you can eat at the places we stop or cook your own meals in the boat's galley, the choice is yours.

Who cooks for themselves when in France ??

The purpose of the cruise is to make it as flexible as possible in order for you to get maximum enjoyment

No two weeks will be the same - it will be as independent as you are

We will leave when you are ready

There must be an overall structure and that will to be to get to our final destination on time - how we get there is up to you !!

We will be on a boat and the only restriction we will have will be the weather.

If the weather is inclement we will not be sailing - this is a decision made by your skipper.

Sailing on the River Seine is not allowed during the hours of darkness or reduced visibility

Our berth in Cergy

Our cruise of the River Seine would normally start or end in Paris.

We will be going from Paris to Vernon and the following week we will return to Paris, then we will head south to Saint Mammes and Montereau and return again to Paris the following week

Our berth in Montereau on the River Y'onne

we are on the Quai de l'Yonne, just on the other side of the Pont d'Yonne ( Roiver Yonne bridge)

We will advise you, by email, where you will be joining the boat

If you have a particular preference -contact us as early as you can
